OUR TEACHERS

AUREA ELAINE - Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) - Current First Aid Certificate

Aurea TozoKia ora, my name is Aurea, and I am the head teacher at Magic Place Early Education and Care Centre. I have been teaching in early childhood education centres for ten years. My most recent position was as supervisor of a parent co-operative childcare centre in Napier. Perhaps consequently, strong parent/ teacher relationships are important to me. My professional interests include environment design and arts education. I live in Waipukurau. I spend my weekends going for walks and having meals with friends.

FARIDDY  YUNIS  HERRERA (Teacher) - Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) Current First Aid Certificate

Kia ora, my name is Fariddy. I was born and brought up in Peru and I lived in Brazil for 12 years before I moved to New Zealand eight years ago. I live on a farm South of Waipukurau with my husband Martin. We have an adorable six year old son, Robert.  This is the last year of my Master in Teaching (ECE) at EIT. I love everything that I am learning. I know how important teachers' role is in the early years of children’s lives. I strongly believe that it is very important for children to feel safe and to live in a peaceful and harmonious environment.
